Who is Ms. Lisa?

I am a professional singer and voice teacher, and I teach at my home studio in Land O'Lakes.

Biography

My performing career includes musical theater, classical concert, oratorio and opera, and I have established most of my work in the Greater Tampa Bay area. Highlights include "Forbidden Broadway" at the Straz Center, "South Pacific" (Nellie) with Spanish Lyric Theatre, "Carnival" (Rosalie) with Golden Apple Dinner Theatre, "Discover Bernstein!" with The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay, and "The Messiah" at the Clearwater Bach Festival. I am frequently asked to judge local festivals and competitions.

I have taught private and group voice lessons for over 25 years to students ages 8 through adults. I was on the faculty at the highly esteemed John Leggio's Center for the Performing Arts in Spring Hill for five years. And I am currently the Director of Music at Grace Lutheran Church in Carrollwood. I received my Master's Degree in Voice Performance at USF, and have two Bachelor's Degrees (Voice Performance and Music Education) from Stetson University.

I currently teach at my home in the Oakstead community of Land O'Lakes. My husband Joseph is the music teacher at Oakstead Elementary, and we have two children. Lilia is an aspiring singer/songwriter, and Elias is a sophomore at Sunlake High who enjoys Tae Kwon Do, performing in musicals, and theme park design.
